Playgo Little Learner Super Table - musical activity table

Description

A round activity table on four coloured legs, sized for children who have just found their feet and like having something in front of them to fiddle with. The top is full of things that react: a cog to turn, a dome with a ball whirling inside, press buttons, a ribbed disc, beads on a wire and a little book with numbers.

There is music and light in it, and at this age that is the whole point: your child presses or turns, and something happens. The box sums it up as play with sight, hearing and touch, and it also puts the accent on fine motor skills - turning, sliding and pressing, often with both hands at once.

The top can be reversed. Turn the table over and you have a second play surface, handy for a baby who is not yet standing and would rather play on the floor. The table runs on 3 AAA batteries, which are not included. The box says 12m+, so from 12 months.

A solid present for a first birthday, and one of those toys that keep a child busy for months because there is always something else to get out of it. Playgo, item number 2236.
