Playgo Match-A-Shape Bucket - shape sorter with 12 pieces

Description

A shape sorter built as a little bucket. The white lid has cut-outs in five shapes - star, heart, circle, square and triangle - and the matching blocks in green, coral, red, yellow and turquoise have to go through them one by one.

For a child of around one that is a real job: look at the block first, then find the right hole, then turn it until it fits. It drops into the bucket with a knock, the lid comes off and the whole thing starts again. Along the way your child learns to line up hands and eyes, and picks up the names of the shapes and the colours.

The bucket has a handle so your child can carry it around, and it doubles as the storage box: lid on and everything is inside. The packaging states twelve pieces and the roundel 12m+, so from 12 months.

A classic among baby toys, and for that reason an easy choice as a present for a first birthday. Playgo, item number 2377.
