Fisher-Price Wooden Shape Stacker - 13 Pieces on a Wooden Base

Description

Four pegs stand on a plain wooden base. Over them go twelve wooden shapes in red, yellow and green: triangles, circles, rectangles and squares, some striped, some dotted, some plain.

The game is in the choosing: which shape goes on which peg, and in what order. A two-year-old simply stacks whatever is nearest. A few months later the sorting starts — all the round ones together, or all the yellow ones, or largest to smallest.

The set counts thirteen pieces: one base and twelve shapes. Everything is wood, so it lands with a dull knock instead of a rattle, and it sits tidily on a shelf once play is over.

Fisher-Price states two years and up. A quiet present for a child who already has plenty of toys that run on batteries.
