Ravensburger ScienceX® Growing Crystals and Gemstones

Description

Ravensburger ScienceX Growing Crystals and Gemstones is an experiment box that lets you get hands-on with crystals and gemstones. The box shows the title Growing Crystals + Gemstones and the text The Experiment Boxes.

The box contains, among other things, a magnifying glass, a measuring cup, a plastic collecting tray, string, a wooden spatula, a small stone slab, a roll of wax, colour tablets, plaster powder and safety goggles. It also contains powders for growing crystals and moulds for geodes, diamonds and fizz.

There are also various gemstones to look at up close: pyrite, rock crystal, rose quartz, agate, orange calcite, haematite, sodalite, jasper and amethyst. With the experiments you discover how crystals form and whether all gemstones are equally hard.
