Skittles set in plastic - 8 pins and 2 balls

Description

Skittles is the kind of game you can set up anywhere and that nobody needs to explain. This set is eight plastic pins and two balls, and that is all it takes.

Stand the pins in a triangle on a flat surface, take a few steps back and roll. Younger children simply count what falls over. For more of a contest, keep score across several rounds or move the throwing line back a step each time.

The pins are made of coloured plastic. Indoors the balls run best on a smooth floor; outdoors it works just as well on a terrace or on short-mown grass. When play is over, the eight pins and the two balls go back into the box together.

A simple game for home and for taking along, and a present that also earns its keep at a birthday party where several children take turns.
