Nerf Minecraft Sabrewing - motorised bow with 8 darts

Description

The Sabrewing from the Nerf Minecraft range is built in the recognisable blocky shape of the game: grey, ochre and angular, exactly as the bow looks in-game. In the box are the bow itself, a clip for 8 darts and 8 official Nerf Elite darts.

Play goes like this: you slide the clip in and pull the string back with the priming lever, which brings the motor up to speed. One press of the button and a dart flies. Eight times in a row, and then you reload. So it is a genuine bow movement, not just pressing a button.

The bow runs on 4 AA batteries, and they are not included. Worth bearing in mind if it is a present that has to be opened and used straight away. The darts are ordinary Nerf Elite darts, so loose refills already in the house will fit. The packaging states from 8 years.

A solid present for a child who plays Minecraft and likes being outdoors. Given the size of the bow, this is a birthday present or something for under the tree rather than a little extra.
