Wooden doll cradle - white rocking cradle with mattress

Description

A rocking cradle for dolls, in white wood. The two side panels stand on curved feet, so the whole cradle moves with a push from a child's hand. The panels have shapes cut out of them, a heart and a star, and the head end carries a flower motif in pink and grey.

Inside the cradle lies a pink checked mattress, ready for the doll or the soft toy that has to go to sleep that evening. Every parent knows the play that goes with it: tuck in, rock, sing softly, and ten minutes later the whole thing starts again.

The cradle measures 49 x 37 x 35 cm and the box states from 3 years. No doll is included, so the cradle is meant for the doll that is already in the house.

For a child who has just been given a baby doll this is the obvious second present, and one that will simply do its job again for the next child.
