Playgo Kitchen Tools & Food Set - toy kitchen set, 21 pieces

Description

Playgo's Kitchen Tools & Food Set fills out a toy kitchen in one go with 21 pieces. There are pans and saucepans, two of them with a see-through lid, plus a chopping board with knife, a ladle, a fork and plates to serve on. Alongside that comes imitation food: a small steak, a fried egg and a vegetable.

The nicest part of the set is the imitation shopping. Tins, a packet of peeled tomatoes, a box of cornflakes, a carton of soup and a tub of butter, all of it toy plastic and cardboard, copied from what sits in a real trolley. Children can unpack them, put them in the cupboard, take them back out and 'make' a meal with them.

So the play runs from doing the shopping to chopping, stir-frying and serving, and that is exactly what role play at this age turns on. The box carries the age marking 24m+ and item number 3726 from Playgo Toys Enterprises Limited. The weights printed on the toy packets are part of the toy's own artwork.

Good fun for a toddler or preschooler who already has a toy kitchen and now wants something to cook in it, and a set that lends itself well to playing together.
