Classic World pink wooden play kitchen - fridge and microwave

Description

This Classic World play kitchen is pink throughout and comes in two parts: a tall fridge with a freezer door above it, and a kitchen unit with a worktop. On that worktop sits a sink with a tap, beside it two hotplates with turning knobs, and underneath an oven and a microwave with a printed display.

What a child does with it is cook without a stove: pot on the heat, tap turned on, oven door flipped open, shopping stacked into the fridge and everyone called to the table. The little curtained window, the clock and the shopping list on the fridge door are part of the scenery. That list is printed, by the way, so there is nothing to write on.

Cookware comes with it: the photo shows a pot and a small pan on the heat and two kitchen tools hanging on the wall. The cupboard under the worktop has a door with a heart-shaped window. Assembled, the whole thing measures 85 x 33.5 x 91 cm; Classic World gives 3 years as the lower limit.

At that size this is more a piece of furniture than a small toy: it stands on the floor and two children can play at it at the same time. A present for a birthday where something big is expected.
