Happy Family toy iron - dark blue, from 3 years

Description

This toy iron belongs to the Happy Family range for household role play. It is made of plastic, dark blue with a coral-red cap on the nose, and has an open loop handle on top that a child's hand fits through.

Two drawings appear on the box: filling it through the opening on top, and a fine mist coming out of the spout at the front. A doll's blanket, a tea towel or the play kitchen's laundry is smoothed out in no time - in the game, at least.

The box states 3+. This is imitative play: a child copies what it sees happening at home, with the shape and the hand movement of a real iron, but at child's size.

Good alongside a toy ironing board or a play kitchen, and small enough to give as a present on its own.
