Description

This is the classic sticks-and-marbles game, announced on the box as Easy-Games - Don't let the marble drop! and made by Tong Hui. A yellow see-through tube stands on a blue oval base; the coloured sticks cross through it and form a grid that the marbles rest on.

The box says it itself: 'Be careful or you'll have a... landslide!' The marbles sit on the sticks, and whoever pulls one out never quite knows what will shift. Whatever falls through rolls into the compartments in the base, where everyone can see it lying.

It is a game of watching calmly and moving carefully, with an outcome everybody sees happen at the same moment. Because there is nothing to read and nothing to add up, younger and older players can join in together; the box calls it a family game.

The whole thing is compact and quick to set up, and suits a rainy afternoon, the holidays or a birthday table.
