Hitster 100% NL - Jumbo music game with hits from the Netherlands

Description

Hitster 100% NL is the Dutch-language edition of Jumbo's music game, made together with the radio station 100% NL. The box holds more than 300 music cards, each with a track by an artist from the Netherlands - Dutch-language and English-language work side by side.

It plays like this: someone picks a card and scans the QR code with the free Hitster app, and the track starts playing through Spotify. The others judge when it came out and place the card in the right spot on their own timeline. The first player to get ten tracks in the correct order wins.

The manufacturer states ages 16 and up, for 2 to 10 players, and a game runs 30 to 60 minutes. You need a smartphone with the free app and access to Spotify; the cards themselves hold no music.

This is the game for an evening with friends or for a family party where three generations join in. Because the list spans decades of Dutch music, everyone at the table recognises something - and nobody knows it all.
