MONOPOLY HARRY POTTER

Description

Monopoly Harry Potter is an edition of the well-known board game themed around the world of Harry Potter. You play as a Hogwarts student. Each player chooses a gold-coloured themed token and a House card, and so belongs to one of the houses.

The tokens are themed around transport: the Hippogriff, the Knight Bus, the Hogwarts Express, Hagrid's motorbike, the Thestral, and the Firebolt. Instead of streets, the properties are locations in and around Hogwarts castle and the village of Hogsmeade, such as classrooms and common rooms.

Play money is replaced by house points. You move around the board and explore locations. The more you explore, the more house points you can take from other players. A colour set lets you add house crests. Owl Post cards take the place of Chance and Community Chest and can give the game a different turn, for example with a Howler.

The game ends when all locations have been explored. The player with the most house points wins. The game is in Dutch, for 2 to 6 players from age 8.
