Jovi children's scissors - modelling paste and paper, plastic

Description

Children's scissors from the Spanish brand Jovi, made entirely in yellow plastic. The handles are asymmetric: a round loop for the thumb and a wider, shaped loop that the other fingers sit in. Jovi shapes them this way because a child's hand simply sits differently in a pair of scissors than an adult's.

The scissors are meant first of all for modelling paste, clay and plasticine. They cut paper as well, so they stay useful once the kneading is over and the gluing and cutting begins.

The blister card carries the age mark 3+. You get one pair of scissors per card, to hang on a rack or simply drop into the craft box.

A logical companion to a tub of Jovi modelling paste or plasticine, and small enough to hand over as an extra in a craft parcel.
