Jovi flat brushes - set of 4 in sizes 4, 6, 8 and 12

Description

Four flat brushes on a blister card, in ascending sizes 4, 6, 8 and 12. The hair is natural and fairly stiff, which suits thicker paint: poster paint, gouache and acrylic stay put on the brush instead of running straight off.

The smallest size draws edges and detail; the largest fills an area in one stroke. Anyone learning to paint has enough in those four sizes to build a picture up from background to detail without changing brush type every time. Worked on its edge, the flat shape also gives a clean straight line.

The handles are wood, lacquered black, with a metal ferrule around the hair. The card is about 32 cm long and hangs from a euro punch hole. The whole thing weighs 53 grams.

Jovi is a Spanish brand of drawing and painting materials. This set tops up what you already have at home and makes a small, usable present alongside a sketchbook or a box of paint.
