Disney Princess foam shapes - box with handle

Description

The box is clear plastic with a folded-over handle and is full of shapes cut from coloured foam. Each shape has the outline of a princess, with fine lines pressed in so you can make out the dress and the hair. The front carries the Disney Princess logo, with a castle and a princess pictured beside it.

Foam is rewarding craft material: thick enough for small fingers to pick up, and light enough to end up on just about anything. The shapes find their way onto a birthday card, into a collage, onto a craft project, or simply into a row on the table, sorted by colour.

The box closes again, so after the crafting afternoon everything goes straight back in and the shapes do not vanish under the sofa. Thanks to the handle a child can carry it to the table or over to a friend's house unaided.

A small present for anyone mad about princesses, or something to keep in the craft cupboard for a free Wednesday afternoon.
