Marvin's Magic Mind-Blowing Magic - 25 tricks, theme may vary

Description

Twenty-five tricks in a box, props included, and a DVD that demonstrates them one by one. That last part is what separates it from a book of magic: you can read a written explanation of a sleight three times without getting it, whereas watching it once is usually enough.

The Mind-Blowing Magic range covers three themes: tricks and stunts, mind-reading, and card tricks. Each box holds 25 tricks from one of those themes plus the same DVD instruction. Which of the three is supplied is not fixed, so do not count on a particular theme.

The box states 'for magicians aged 8-adult', so from 8 years. That is not an idle marking: the tricks take some practice before they run smoothly, and that practising in front of the mirror is half the work. Adults who want one thing they can do at a party get away with it too.

The box is small enough for a rucksack and has a hanging tab. A present for a child who likes having something in their hands to learn, and a good filler for a birthday or for Saint Nicholas.
