Y Wow round pizza puzzle 500 pieces - topping may vary

Description

Not a rectangle but a circle. The 500 pieces make up a pizza 48 cm across, with tomato, mushroom, courgette, black olive and shaved cheese on top. The outer edge is a round crust instead of four straight sides, and that makes the assembly slightly different from an ordinary puzzle: there are no corners to start from.

The packaging follows the joke. Italian tricolour down the sides, the pizza large in the middle and 'PIZZA' in block capitals along the bottom, in a square box the size you really would be handed one in.

The box says '6 Toppings To Collect': the range runs to six different pizzas. You receive one, and which topping it turns out to be is not settled in advance - anyone who wants all six collects them.

At 500 pieces it fills an evening or a rainy afternoon, and the finished puzzle fits on an ordinary dining table. A nice gift for a pizza lover, and a talking point in its own right.
