Christ the Redeemer puzzle, Rio de Janeiro - 1000 pieces

Description

The box holds one 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle. The image shows Rio de Janeiro from the air, with the statue of Christ and its outstretched arms in the foreground and, behind it, the bay, Sugarloaf Mountain and the city reaching to the horizon.

The picture has many layers, and you notice that while assembling it. The city yields plenty of small detail you can work through zone by zone, while the water and the sky form larger, quieter areas to fill in between times.

What you get is a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle. The box carries the WOW Games brand, the series name Landmarks Collection and the Puzzle Special Edition seal. The supplier lists this article under the name El Cristo Salvador.

A fine present for anyone with Brazil still on their list, or for the puzzler who likes an image with a lot to discover in it.
