CB Sky children's accordion red - 7 melody and 2 bass buttons

Description

This accordion from the CB Sky Music Pro Series is built to a child's size: two red casings with a white bellows between them and, on each side, a strap for the hand, so that the instrument stays put while you pull and push.

On the right sit seven white melody buttons. Two note letters are printed beside each one, because pulling the bellows out gives a different tone from pushing it in. On the left are two bass buttons for the accompaniment and a third button marked Air Valve, which lets the bellows empty or fill without a sound.

An instrument like this mostly invites experiment: press a button, move the bellows, hear what comes out. Because the note names are printed on it, a child can work from a song on paper without anyone having to point out the buttons.

A pleasant first instrument for the house, and small enough to take to the grandparents or away on holiday.
