Fisher-Price Flap & Wobble Penguin - plush with music

Description

This plush penguin from Fisher-Price belongs among a baby's very first toys. A touch sets off music and a flapping wing movement, and your little one responds to that all by itself.

During tummy time he lies at eye level and gives your baby a reason to lift its head. A baby who can already sit gives him a push: the rounded, weighted base lets him rock from side to side and come back upright, and that brings the music on again.

The inside of the wings carries a high-contrast black-and-white pattern, exactly what young eyes pick up most easily. The toy also combines soft plush with smooth and crinkly sections, and the orange feet crinkle when you squeeze them. Fisher-Price lists two music settings with up to ten minutes of music and sound between them.

A fine present for a baby shower or a first Christmas, for parents looking for something that carries on from the play mat to the first time sitting up alone.
