Metal tea service - 15 pieces with teapot, cups and tray

Description

A tea service in miniature, made in metal rather than plastic. The box states fifteen pieces and calls it a stainless steel tea set.

Laid out on the table you get a rectangular tray with a raised rim, a teapot with a loose lid and a knob on top, four cups with a handle, four saucers and four flat plates. The outside carries a floral print in pink, yellow and green on white; the inside of the cups is bare metal.

That puts a tea party ready to go: pouring from the pot, carrying the cups round on the tray and handing out the plates. For four guests at the table, or for the soft toys and dolls who never say no to a second cup.

The box is headed Deluxe Tea Service and shows the fifteen pieces on the front, so you can see what is inside before opening it. An obvious gift for a birthday, or to add to a doll's corner or a play kitchen.
