Taiyo Speed Buggy 1:12 - radio-controlled buggy on 2.4 GHz

Description

A radio-controlled buggy at 1:12 scale from the Taiyo brand. The car has a low buggy body with a rear wing and a red, yellow and grey flame print, chunky block tyres and coil springs you can see on the suspension.

The transmitter supplied has a pistol grip: the trigger for the throttle, the wheel for steering. The link runs over 2.4 GHz. The side flap of the box lists those features as a row of pictograms: 6+, 1:12, 2.4 GHz, suspension and USB charging.

The box holds the buggy, the transmitter, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a USB charging cable - stated in so many words on the packaging, in four languages. Charging therefore runs over USB, and the car itself needs no separate batteries. The age marking on the box is 6+.

A present for a child ready for something faster than a push-along car, and big enough to make an impression under the Christmas tree or at a birthday.
