Playgo Cheeky Bear rattle - bear's head with spinning discs

Description

The Cheeky Bear Rattle from Playgo (item 1573) is a rattle in the shape of a standing little bear. At the top a yellow head with round ears and a funny face, below it three clear spheres, and right at the bottom a yellow round base with coloured beads inside.

Each sphere holds a coloured disc on a little axle - yellow, orange and purple-red - that a finger can set spinning. Shake the whole thing and the beads at the bottom rattle along. The packaging points to exactly those two things: there is plenty to see and plenty to hear.

The narrow sections between the spheres form a grip by themselves, even for a hand that cannot hold much yet; the card says in so many words that the toy sits well in small baby hands. That same card is marked 6m+.

A classic first toy: a small present for a baby from six months, or something to keep in the changing bag as a matter of course.
