Classic World wooden bear rattle - five rings

Description

This rattle is wood throughout. At the top sits a round bear's head in bare wood with two rounded ears and a muzzle painted red; below it hang five flat rings, loose on a spindle, in red, orange, yellow, orange and red.

A baby grips the bear by the head and shakes. The rings then slide along the spindle and tap against each other, with a dry, clicking sound quite unlike the rattle of plastic. The colours are there to look at while the hands are busy.

The rattle measures 11.7 × 5.5 × 5.2 cm and weighs 90 grams: small enough to hold in one hand and light enough to wave about. No batteries are needed.

A classic little gift to bring along to a new birth, or to put on a baby registry.
