Clementoni Mechanics Off Road - Construction Set, 10 Models

Description

This construction box from the Wetenschap & Spel Build range is all about screwing things together yourself. With the beams, panels, gears and wheels in the set your child first assembles a blue off-road vehicle, and then nine other models - ten in total, each with its own instructions.

The main model is built after the mechanics of real off-road vehicles. Each wheel has its own coil-spring suspension and the front wheels turn through a rack and pinion, so your child sees what independent suspension does as soon as the model goes over a bump.

Once through the ten models as drawn, your child simply uses the parts again for constructions of its own. That is the point of the range too: think something up, build it, and then see whether it holds.

The box states from 8 years. A present for a child who likes being busy with a screwdriver and would rather work out for itself how a thing fits together.
