Clementoni iDea Create your Pens Tropical - 3 pens to build

Description

Create your Pens: Tropical belongs to iDea, Clementoni's craft line. The set holds three pens to put together yourself, four ink refills in different colours, three characters to sit on top and the tools that go with them, along with an illustrated instruction sheet.

The real work is in the clear pen barrel, filled through a small funnel with glitter, sequins or confetti. The box shows three finished examples - a pen with gold stars and a pineapple in heart-shaped glasses, one with green sequins and a smiling flower, and one with pink blossom and a tropical bird. The four ink colours mean not every pen writes in the same colour.

Clementoni gives the set from 6 years; the age is printed on the box as a badge as well. The box is small, roughly 13 by 9 by 3 cm, and weighs next to nothing.

A craft present with a result a child really goes on to use, at school or at the desk. It works as a small birthday gift or as an addition to something bigger.
