Dino Crunch - dexterity game by Goliath with 20 eggs

Description

A T-rex sits on top of his nest guarding twenty eggs. It is up to you to lift them out one by one without waking him. The box holds the dino, the nest as a game board, 20 eggs in blue, red, green and yellow, a die, a pair of tweezers and the rules.

You roll the die and it points to a colour. With the tweezers you go looking for an egg in exactly that colour and ease it out from between the others. Manage it and the egg is yours. Get it wrong and the T-rex's jaws snap shut and your turn is over.

The box gives 2 to 4 players from 4 years. The game asks for a steady hand and patience rather than reading or counting, which lets pre-schoolers play on equal terms with older brothers and sisters.

A good choice for a child mad about dinosaurs who wants a round that is over in a quarter of an hour. It is quick to set up and fits back into the same box afterwards.
