Farmyard floor puzzle - 48 jumbo pieces, from 3 years

Description

Happy Farm is a floor puzzle of 48 jumbo pieces: large pieces a preschooler can pick up and press together unaided. The scene is a farm on a sunny day, with a red barn and chimney, a windmill in the background and a yellow haystack in the middle.

There is plenty to name while you lay it out: a black and white cow at the front, a brown horse, a pig by the fence, a row of chicks behind the hen, a cockerel by the haystack, a scarecrow in the field and the farmer in a straw hat with a pitchfork. That makes the puzzle a picture to talk about together as well.

The box is ochre and has a handle on top, so you can carry it like a little case and the pieces stay tidily inside. The front reads HAPPY FARM - Jumbo Floor Puzzle, 48 jumbo pieces and ages 3+.

A floor puzzle is laid out on the floor, so there is room for two or three children at once. A fitting first puzzle gift for a preschooler, and with the jungle version from the same range an obvious pair.
