The Genius Square turns on a single action that repeats endlessly without getting dull. You throw the seven dice, place the blockers on the squares they point to, and try to fill the square that is left completely with your nine puzzle pieces.

The box contains two game boards, two sets of nine puzzle pieces, two sets of seven blockers, seven dice and the rules. Because there are two boards, two players tackle the same problem at the same time: whoever fills theirs first wins the round. Playing alone works too, against the clock or simply at your own pace.

The manufacturer counts more than 60,000 problems across five difficulty levels, and states that every throw has at least one solution. So you can never hit an impossible layout, and that is exactly what keeps the game going for children and adults together.
