Gonher Command M-118 cap rifle - 8-shot rings, 77.5 cm

Description

This is the big model from Gonher's Command range, ref. 1118/6 at the manufacturer and known in the trade as the M-118. The rifle is modelled on an M-16, measures about 77.5 cm and has a woven nylon sling.

That length makes it outdoor kit rather than something for the living room: playing soldier or policeman, a course through the garden, or a prop with a costume. Nothing comes out of the barrel. The sound comes from 8-shot ring caps, which go into the mechanism.

Gonher builds the rifle from metal with plastic parts and makes it in Spain; it weighs about a kilo, which you feel the moment you pick it up. It comes on a cardboard display card. The ring caps are bought separately.

For children who like army and adventure games, and for anyone after a large prop for carnival or a costume party.
