Wooden puppet theatre - red, curtain and chalkboard, 87.5 cm

Description

This puppet theatre is a painted wooden front with a hinged side panel, so that it stands freely in the room on two curved feet. A yellow crown with a halo of rays sits at the top, a yellow drapery motif runs across the full width, and yellow stars are scattered all over the red.

Behind the stage opening hangs a lilac curtain. Your child ducks behind it, pulls the curtain open and the play begins. On the front is a black chalkboard panel: that is where you write the title, or the time of the performance, or the names of the cast. Afterwards you wipe it off and think up something new.

The puppet theatre is stated as 87.5 x 55 x 24.5 cm, with 87.5 cm as the height - a preschooler looks just over the top of it and crouches comfortably behind it. The whole thing weighs 8.7 kg and arrives flat-packed.

A present for a child who likes telling stories, and it fits just as well in a classroom, at a childminder's or in a play corner at home.
