Sand play set with wooden handles - spade and rake, 60 cm

Description

Two classic sand tools in one set: a spade and a rake, both with a long wooden handle and a plastic grip and blade. At 60 cm long, a child does not have to stoop low to dig or rake, which works a good deal more comfortably at the seaside or in the sandpit than a small hand scoop.

With the spade children dig holes, fill buckets and build the base of a sandcastle; with the rake they draw lines, smooth the sand out again or sift for shells. The two together cover just about everything that happens in a sandpit.

The set comes in a mesh bag 60 cm high and 13 cm wide, as the measurements on the packaging indicate. The net is handy for keeping the two pieces together after play.

A simple little summer present, for the beach bag or as an addition to a sandpit in the garden.
