Description

The Wooden Stack and Count Learning Set by First Learning is a wooden counting set of 86 pieces. The box spells out the contents: 10 pegs, 55 colourful wooden rings, 10 colourful numbers and 10 boards, together with the board that holds it all.

Those 55 rings are not an accidental number. There are exactly enough to slide one ring onto the first peg, two onto the second, and so on up to ten on the last. A child therefore sees with their own eyes how a quantity builds up, before they even know the numerals.

The numbers are cut out of coloured wood and fit into the recesses of the board. Ten boards with patterns and numerals go with them. Stacking, sorting by colour and recognising numbers all happen on the same board.

The box says from 3 years. Quiet toys to work with at the table or on the floor, and they grow with the child: at first there is mostly stacking and sorting, later there is real counting.
