Description

By Anubis, you have found the pharaoh's temple. Cle'O'Cartes is a puzzle and thinking game in an Egyptian setting, played alone or against up to three opponents.

Each round a riddle card comes to the table with a coded message on it. You take four puzzle cards in your own colour and slide them over one another until exactly the combination asked for appears. Everyone puzzles at the same time, so whoever sees it first is away at once - and whoever does not is left turning cards a while longer.

The box holds 75 riddle cards spread over three levels (easy, advanced and expert), 16 puzzle cards, two pharaoh grids, a solutions booklet and the rules. For 1 to 4 players, a round takes about twenty minutes, and according to the manufacturer the game is intended from 6 years.

Because the riddles are split into levels, the game grows along for a few years. And since it can be played on your own, it stays useful on an afternoon when nobody else feels like joining in.
