LEGO Ideas 21362 translates six minerals into bricks: golden pyrite, purple amethyst, blue fluorite, watermelon tourmaline, red-pink rhodochrosite and orange quartz. The box runs to 880 pieces.

Three freestanding shelf units, which you build yourself, go with the minerals. You clip the pieces onto them and stand the units side by side or one above the other; move the minerals from shelf to shelf and the whole arrangement looks different again.

A good deal of translucent material has gone into the crystal shapes, catching the light the way the real stones do. Set out together, the whole thing measures about 18 cm high, 28 cm wide and 7 cm deep - small enough for a bookshelf or a desk. According to LEGO this set is intended for builders from 18 years.
