Classic World wooden sea animal puzzle - 13 pieces, 30 x 21 cm

Description

A wooden inset puzzle from Classic World on which six sea animals each have a place of their own: a starfish, a seahorse, a shark, a crab, a turtle and an octopus. The board itself is painted as an underwater landscape with bubbles and weed, so the animals belong there straight away.

Each animal is made up of two pieces: the outer shape and a smaller piece that fits inside it again, such as the turtle's shell or the shark's belly. A toddler can first lay the six animals in place and then go looking for the smaller pieces. Together they make 13 pieces.

The puzzle measures 30 x 21 cm and is 1.2 cm thick, so the pieces are sturdy enough to grasp with a whole hand. Classic World states 12 months as the minimum age.

A quiet toy for the table or the floor, and a gift that lasts, because a child first sorts with it and later names everything that swims in the sea.
